Shenandoah Conservatory

Founded in 1875 in Dayton, Va., as Shenandoah Seminary, the conservatory is the oldest of Shenandoah University’s five schools. In the 1950s, the school moved to Winchester. Since the Shingleton Studio Theatre and the Goodson Chapel and Recital Hall were built in 1980, the conservatory has produced hundreds of plays, dances, concerts and recitals.
