Young Naturalist Program: Weather and Storms
The Young Naturalist Program is designed for children in Grades 1 to 5.
Sessions explore the wonders of the natural world through observation and hands-on activities.
Why do we have seasons? Why is it cold in winter? And why did we get so much snow last winter? We’ll measure temperature,
humidity, and wind, we’ll make weather instruments to take home, and we’ll compare weather in meadows, below evergreen trees, and
under the snow pack.
Grades 1-2 attend from 9-11:30 a.m.
Grades 3-5 attend from 12:30-3 p.m.
